In Response to COVID-19 - We're Giving Back
The world is topsy turvy right now, friends!
And, like much of the world, we are scrambling to figure out how to best deal with it... We are at home with our kids over an extended March Break. We are social distancing (FaceTime team meetings just aren't the same!) We are keeping a close eye on the economy. We are enjoying board games. We are re-organizing our space. We are sometimes worrying. We're playing with the puppies. And we are crafting.
There are so many things we cannot control. And the situation is changing basically by the minute. But as of right now, we are operating as usual. Our supply is still flowing and we are happily fulfilling orders. With some extra precautions, of course. Lots of hand washing and for those of you who choose local pick up, we'll keep our distance. As always, contact free pickup is available in our little shed. Shipments are being packaged with care.
Don't worry - we are well. Just being extra careful.
We know the uncertainty is difficult - and that many people are unable to work. We also recognize how our senior population is super vulnerable. We are lucky enough to be healthy and able to work from home - so we want to be part of the solution.
Here's our plan:
For the duration of this crisis:
- We will be donating 5% of all sales to HelpAge Canada. This money will go directly to respond to the needs of seniors across Canada during the COVID-19 crisis.
- In addition to this, you may have noticed the SVG Mel L designed. Every penny from the sales of these files will also be donated to HelpAge Canada.
